An elegant yet simple way to display bath soaps and lotions.
These decorative hand carved valets are crafted from fallen cedar trees sourced in the Hudson Valley. Made in small batches, these bowls are each unique, formed around the natural characteristics of the tree. The valets are then burnt in the Japanese style of yakisugi, (also known as shou sugi ban) creating the black patina and preserving the wood from decay. Valets are additionally sealed to preserve and protect against liquid.
Approximately 8” long by 6” wide, each piece will vary slightly and be unique unto itself.
