These decorative hand turned beveled edge trinket dishes are crafted from fallen cedar trees sourced in the Hudson Valley. Made in small batches, these bowls are each unique, formed around the natural characteristics of the tree. The dishes are then burnt in the Japanese style of yakisugi, (also known as shou sugi ban) creating the black patina and preserving the wood from decay. Dishes are additionally sealed to preserve and protect against liquid, food safe.
